I don't know about you, but we are getting excited about the holidays. Me and Tegan mostly, but Charles joins in in the excitement occasionally! I bought Tegan's Christmas outfit today and it is SOOO cute! It has a white long-sleeved onesie with a black bow around the neck, with a matching black-and-white hounds-tooth skirt (we're getting her tights to go under it), and a matching hounds-tooth beret. And a red sweater to go over it. It's adorable, I can't wait to see her in it! I plan on putting the tree up this week, hopefully. Once I get a few more large present boxes! Why would I need large boxes you may ask? TEGAN!!! She will eat our tree, and the ornaments, and the presents beneath it. I'm filling these large boxes with heavy items and surrounding our tree with them, to prevent my little tasmanian devil from consuming the sparkly wonders. I did some more Christmas shopping today, so all-in-all I'm almost done.
Charles graduated his super hard training class last week! SOOO proud of him!! Tegan and I made it through his graduation just fine. Tegan WORE ME OUT though! My gosh...it was almost impossible to keep her in my lap and QUIET for an hour! Whew..I needed a nap afterward. Charles endured 5 weeks of the 2nd hardest training the Army has to offer, just 2nd to SEER school, which he unfortunately will have to do also here soon. He starts Air Assault school tomorrow, then he leaves for Fort Benning for Airborne school in Janurary. Air Assault is 10 days and it's done here at Ft. Campbell and Airborne is 3 weeks. He will be at Ft. Benning the same time as my brother! Which, by the way, my awesome brother graduates basic training Dec. 4th so I'm really excited to get to see him over Christmas...I know he's ready to be done. Can't wait to see my 2 favorite soldiers over the holidays!
We are going to AL for Thanksgiving! Yay! Excited to see everyone as always! We are planning on visiting B'ham people (mostly Charles' family) on Thursday then seeing my family Friday. It should be fun but I know me and Charles are both dreading getting in a car. It seems like we've been traveling sooo much lately. We were in Destin 2 weeks ago for my Sonya's wedding and that was a brutal drive! Appx. 9-10 hours. Ahhh! Luckily 4 hours sounds awesome in comparison. Other than getting excited about the holidays, I've been watching in amazement at how fast my little turkey is growing. I just can't believe it. I'm pretty sure she'll be walking by Christmas. She had her 9 month (belated) check-up Friday and she weighed in at 20.4 lbs and 27 1/2 in. long. A good turkey size! haha! the doctor said she looked wonderful, so she sent us on our way with just a flu shot! So she and I both got our flu shots this week. She was the only baby in the 9 month group that was there without a tooth yet. She does have one that finally seems to be coming along...I can feel it with my finger so I'm thinking it's only a matter of time before you can really see it! She's been eating more solid food these days. She loves chunks of banana! MmmMMM! She is just waking up from a nap right now, so I'm going to go get her. Happy Thanksgiving!!
Pictures to come...for some reason they won't upload at the moment.

Our favorite soldier!
